Civil Engineer

Qualifications
The National Security Agency's Office of Installation & Logistics is currently seeking highly motivated Civil Engineers at all levels of experience to join its Facilities Engineering Group in Fort Meade, MD. The engineering group is responsible for the technical quality of civil systems, including planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance.

- Ideal candidates will have experience in some or all of the following: storm water management, sediment and erosion control, Maryland Department of the Environment regulations, waster water treatment, water supply systems, underground utilities, structural systems, principles of transportation and traffic management, traffic signalization, and soils and foundation.
- Knowledge of ASCE standards, International Building Codes, AISC and ACI codes, and standards and their implementation.
- BSCE or MSCE degree is highly desirable and/or a Professional Engineer License
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, challenging environment.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills, as well as the ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products.

U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants. A security clearance must be granted prior to employment and you will be required to undergo extensive pre-employment processing. This includes: aptitude testing; an interview with a psychologist and a security interview conducted with the aid of a polygraph; and a personnel interview. The final stage of the processing will be the successful completion of a security background investigation.
