WHAT DOES A HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST DO?
A Human Resources Specialist performs work that involves recruiting,
examining, selecting and placing employees; performing job analysis;
workforce planning and analysis; and advising management in
identifying, attracting, and retaining a high-quality and diverse
workforce that is capable of accomplishing the organization's
mission.
This position is located in the Human Capital Office (HCO) of the Internal Revenue Service located at 900 Chelmsford Street Lowell, MA
The Human Capital Office (HCO) mission is to make the IRS an employer of choice and a leader in human capital planning and management. It develops strategies and tools for recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce to support the IRS mission. HCO develops and implements technology-enabled systems to improve human capital planning and management and to empower employees to achieve their potential.
The anticipated start date is January 2010.
